Back Home

We traveled back to Iowa for a vacation.....it was a grammie must!!!! Wow! How fast the kids all change! But we got to see Sidney, my son and daughter-in-law, all my favorite nieces and nephews, my dad and my brothers and families!! What a joy!!! I put about 2000 miles on my new car....but it was so worth it!

Now that I have figured out this blogging bit, I thought I would bring you a one year pictures of Sidney. Being a long ways from here, the phone calls I get are so precious. Her vocabulary is growing--the last wonderful set of words she can say is "Okie dokie!" Brilliant, wouldn't you say?

On being a Grammie

I can only say that being a grandmother is nothing like being a mom--it is so neat! Taking care of my granddaughter Sidney tickles my heart. However, I do know why they give you children when you are so young.....it is exhausting work!
